In the first place let`s talk about the situation in our country. For example in Maramures, Bistrita and Harghita snowed a few days ago and it isn`t normal because we are in april. In Bihor snowed this winter two times, one was in this spring. I remeber that a few winters was snowing from december to february and was very normal. For a few years the law is made by the droughts or the storms. It`s going bad from a day to another. I presume that we will not have natural fruits (apricots and plums because are early).
The second thing that I wanted to talk to you is a news that apperead a few days ago reffering to the ice shell from Antartica, that is melting down very quickly and the global heating is the cause. The piece that melted down covers 415 km from Wilkins Island corresponding tot the images from the research workers from National Snow and Ice Data Center that is in Colorado. Wilkins is an island with permanent ice, that is extending aproximately on 13 000 km and is situated in the south vest of Antartic Peninsula.
Blocks of ice after blocks of ice are separating and melting in the ocean. We don`t talk about cracks here, this ice shell is melting down completely declared Ted Scambos, sttintific coordonatory from National Snow and Ice Data Center
In the last 30 years the surface of some ice shells are melting down, six of them melted completely and that is a subject that we have to think about. The animals and the humans will suffer because of our foolishness.
