Last week I saw on Discovery a documentary that I liked very much. This documentary was about the connection between the mirror and the animals. Some animals like the dog, the dolphin, the elephant, the cimpanzee, the orang-utan or the gorilla recognize themeselves in the mirror. Other animals see in the mirror only a member of their species (the most animals), this method is being used at the abandoned cubs. The interesting thing I want to tell you about is that some animals, ex Cappucin monkeys. The monkeys don`t recognize themselves in the mirror but they know that is not the image of other monkeys. If you glue them some figs on the down side of their cages and on the opposite side you put a mirror, after a little time they will find the figs very easely. This documentaries are very interesting. We, humans, need to concentrate better on the this projects instead the politicaly or war stuff because the animals deserve the all atention in the world.
