Christening is a very important part of or life, for saving us from the ancestors sins. The indians have another habit, a freak one. They throw theirs babies from the top of a tower, that fall on some tissues, similar to the ones that are used by firemen. This ritual is for saving the babies from something bad and to have luck in theirs life. The local people say that never happened something to the babies. It`s not normal what they are doing, that is my opinion. How cand you throw a baby that has only a few months from that height? They can make an heart attack and die, just like this. The musulmans and the hindus people have some freak rituals that scares me.
