This night had place in Los Angeles the 80th edition of Oscar Prizes. The evening belonged to two movies, No Country for Old Men and The Bourne Ultimatum, which got 4 prizes (secondary role, adapted scenary, producer and the best movie) respective 3 Oscar prizes (immixing sound, mounting sound, and the best mounting).
- The best costumes: Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Alexandra Byrne. She has been nominalized three times at American Academy Prizes for Movies (Finding Neverland - 2005, Elizabeth - 1999 and Hamlet - 1996).
- The best animation movie: Ratatouille. Producer Brad Bird. He won the Oscar one more time, in 2005, for The Incredibles.
- The best makeup: La vie en Rose. Didier Lavergne and Jan Archibald did a spectaculary transformation from Marion Cottilard in Edith Piaf.
- The best visual effects: The Golden Compass. Michael L. Fink, Bill Westenhofer, Ben Morris, Trevor Wood.
- The best artistic direction: Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Dante Ferretti and Francesca Lo Schiavo.
- The best supporting actor: Javier Bardem: No Country for Old Men. He was nominalized one more time at Oscar Prizes, in 2001 for the role in Before Night Falls.
- The best short movie: Le Mozart des Pickpockets (The Mozart of Pickpockets). Producer Philippe Pollet-Villard. The movie took the Cezar prize too this year.
- The best short animation: Peter & the Wolf. Suzie Templeton and Hugh Welchman.
- The best supporting actrice: Tilda Swinton: Michael Clayton. It is the first prize from britain actrice carrier.
- The best adapted scenary: No Country for Old Men. It is the second trophy for Joel and Ethan Coen at this event. They won the Oscar for the best original scenary in 1997, for Fargo.
- The best sount montage: The Bourne Ultimatum. Scott Millan, David Parker and Kirk Francis.
- The best immixing sound montage: The Bourne Ultimatum.. Scott Millan, David Parker si Kirk Francis.
- The best actrice: Marion Cotillard: La Vie en Rose. She interpretated very good the role of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. It is the second french actrice which win the Oscar Prize at this category (first was Simone Signoret - 1960).
- The best montage: The Bourne Ultimatum. Christopher Rouse. It is the third trophy for this movie, which won the all the categories where it was nominalized.
- The onorophic prize: Robert F. Boyle.
- The best foreign movie: The Counterfeiters. It is the first Oscar Prize for Austria. The trophy was taken by producer Stefan Ruzowitzky.
- The best original melody: Falling Slowly (Once). The prize was taken by composers Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
- The best image: There Will Be Blood. Robert Elswit.
- The best sonory column: Atonement. Dario Marianelli.
- The best short documentary: Freeheld. Cynthia Wade and Vanessa Roth.
- The best documentary: Taxi to the Dark Side by Alex Gibney and Eva Orner.
- The best original scenary: Juno. Diablo Cody.
- The best actor: Daniel Day-Lewis. There Will Be Blood. It is the second trophy for Daniel (the first 1990 My Left Foot).
- The best producer: Joel Coen si Ethan Coen - No Country for Old Men.
- The best movie: No Country for Old Men.

On saturday, 23td february, was the prizes awards for the worst evolutions, Golden Razzie. Lindsay Lohan won two trophies for the worst actrice and for the worst cuple in I Know Who Killed Me.
Eddie Murphy won three razzies for the worst actor, the worst supporting actor and the worst supporting actrice in Norbit. Lindsay Lohan played very bad in her recent movies because she got drugged but at Eddie Murphy I wasn`t expecting.
