The well known european gamers competition, European Cyber Games that now is called Samsung European Championship, was in the 6 - 9 march at Hanovra, Germany. Were present games like Counter Strike 1.6, Need For Speed: Pro Street, Project Gotham Racing 4, Dead or Alive 4, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, FIFA 2008 si WarCraft 3. At Counter Strike we were represented by TeG (PeRRy, Darky, DaNy, ferdi si 0NY), which occupied 5-6th place. The final was won by fnatic from Sweden, that won the contest last year. The second and third places were occupied by MYM (Meet your Makers) polish team and the world champions from last year, the french from emuLate. The prizes were 12 500 EURO for first place, 7500 EURO for second place and 5000 EURO for third place.
Need for Speed: Pro Street : sliver (Germany), Chris (Poland) and VGSpeedPro (Portugal) (prizes : 2500 EURO first place, 1500 EURO second place and 1000 EURO third place).
Project Gotham Racing 4: Handewasser (Holland), Yggdrasil (France) and Johnson (Germany) (prizes : 2500 EURO first place, 1500 EURO second place and 1000 EURO third place).
Dead or Alive 4: Grunt Dude (Great Britain), Skatanmilla (Sweden) and THE TACTICAL (Germany) (prizes : 2500 EURO first place, 1500 EURO second place and 1000 EURO third place).
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Apollo (Great Britain), Xeon (Germany) si LeOwNzAll (France) (prizes : 2500 EURO first place, 1500 EURO second place and 1000 EURO third place).
FIFA 2008: LastNight (Portugal), Walkman (Ukraine) si mario (Austria) (prizes : 2500 EURO first place, 1500 EURO second place and 1000 EURO third place).
