The first edition of the Central European Rally has ended (20-26 april). This counted for Dakar Series. The tour had place between Budapest (Hungary) and Baia-Mare (Romania). At the start were present 96 motorbikes, 18 ATV, 84 cars and 40 trucks. The tour was reduced because the weather in Romania was very bad. At cars the winner is Carlos Sainz (Volkswagen), second is the last year winner, Stephane Peterhansel (Mitsubishi) and third is the young german guy, Dieter Depping (Volkswagen). At the end of the next week the Turistic Trains Balcanic Company will launch in Romania a new type of car, called Zest, produced by the french company Acrea. This car will can be driven by the 16 years old kids too and the only condition will be that the drivers to have driver licence, categoy A1 and B1. Reuben Zammit from Racer X Design made the design for the new Bugatti model that will be called Type 12-2 Streamliner. The car will have 4 places with an W12 twin turbo engine, with the engine on frontside and with traction on the back. The concept may have a high speed of 322km/h comparated with his predecesor, Bugatti Veyron, which has a high speed of 400km/h. I don`t like it. It looks like Batman`s car. The swiss company Acabion Visionary Motion choosen for this concept the engine of the strongest motorbike in the world, Suzuki Hayabusa 2008 model. Those 1340 cc of this motorbike combined with 317 kg did no more and no less than 750 horse power. The high speed of this monster will be 540km/h. Michael Arndt, a german guy from Hanovra made this project in 6 years. This car is a good duplicate of the famous Formula 1 McLaren Mercedes MP 4/14 car, which helped Hakkinen to won the title in 1999. The Rinspeed team, from Switzerland, launched a new concept, sQuba, the amphibian car. The car can roll without problems on land and water. You cand dive at 10 m depth if you simply push a button. The vehicle is propulsed by two propellers pozitionated in the back side and two nautics motors from frontal side. The body was builded from Carbon Nano Tubes. Hummer HX is the new concept belonging to the Hummer team and it was presented at Detroit. The HX design is closing very much to the Jeep. This prototip, that is propulsed with an 3.6 litres SIDI V6 engine, is made for desert and savana.
