The designer Stefanie Krücke created the new Kitano Kite Sailing Yacht. This concept uses only a parachute to navigate oferring a new tehnology to the yachts fans. Kitano has a smaller surface than other yachts and with the help of the big waves the yacht navigates in shallow water and littorals whitout any risk. Even with the smaller waves this boat gets the planificated speed. In conclusion, this concept is ecologicaly, based only on the power of the wind. Always I was attracted by yachts but Kitano fascinated me. It looks like the one in the movie called The Island. Stefanie Krücke won the prise for the best concept at the Collins Stewart Awards from London.
