Here I saw that the Rice Terraces are called in the turistic presentations like the eight wonder of the world. The rice terraces can be found in the UNESCO patrimonium along with the subteran river from Puerto Princessa, Palawan, Phillippines Islands. The terraces are situated on the north side of the archipelago in the Luzon zone and the start point is from the Banaue town, at 350 km from Manila, the capital of the Phillippines Islands. There the air is clean and the people are very poor. The villages are formated from 15 - 20 houses, a school and a church. The people are working all day in those rice teracces, with their hands and feet in the mud. The plantation season has place in february, made by women and the maintanance of the walls, the irigation and the harvest is made by men. The people are still living like this, in this bad conditions and the politicians are not doing anything. This pictures are impressive but when I`m thinking at those people way of living my smile is dying.
Hereinbefore I was telling you about the Sabang river, that is situated among the wonders of the world too and it is the Puerto Princessa district pride. The river covers 8 km under a 1500 high mountain and is pouring in the South China Sea. The 4.5 km section, that you can cover with the boat represents the biggest navigable subteran segment from the world.
