Yesterday morning an asteroid, big as three soccer fileds, passed near Earth, at 538 000 km. The asteroid called TU24 was descovered last year, on 11 october. Although they declared many times that the asteroid will pass us, the internet was invaded of pages that contained TU24 Aphocalipse, The end of the world will come. Don`t panic, the thing that just happened was the only one in the last 2000 years and will not happen in the next 100 years. I belive that we can`t be sure that an asteroid will pass us, although we have the necesary tehnology, until he`s gone. What if on the last 100 km something will change his direction?
